In order to actively respond to the call for environmental protection and reduce resource waste, nearly 140 sanitation public toilets in Fuzhou have begun to use "central paper drawing" instead of traditional large paper rolls. This innovative measure not only meets the paper needs of citizens, but also effectively saves resources. It is estimated that approximately 33000 meters of toilet paper can be saved per day. When citizens use the toilet, they only need to extract about 15 centimeters of toilet paper from the center of the paper tray each time, and the two pieces of paper will automatically disconnect in between, which is both convenient and hygienic.
The public toilet administrator stated that the introduction of "central paper drawing" has greatly reduced waste. In the past, some citizens would randomly pull a large roll of paper when using it, resulting in serious waste of resources. And 'central paper drawing' restricts the amount of paper taken each time through technical means, making the resources more reasonably utilized. In addition, "central paper drawing" also avoids cross contact between different hands and paper, improving the level of public health.
